First Hawks game!

Nostalgic gaming. Did you guys play these too?
Ran across someone talking about old DOS games and it got me thinking about some of the old games I used to play the hell out of. Anyone play any of these? Sometimes those damn elves were too elusive. How did my parents get me to find this fun? Damn rabbit tricked me into learning things!! This game was my crack as a kid. Played it all the time. That damn Buffo and Turbo pissed me off...

Pain, pain, and all around pain.
Work was a giant pain in my ass today. Fucking different set ups in all these routers is pissing me off. Argh! Anyways. Been trying to get my running going again. Its crazy but I kinda miss going for hour long runs. Really great time to get deep in your own thoughts. But I am still getting a lot of pain in my legs :(. Hoping it will go away with more time. 9/1,000 54/1,000 :( Way behind....

Mile tracker
Forgot to leave the miles I have ran out of the 1,000 I want to hit this year. I will try to remember to post the miles out of 1,000 I have ran and where I should be at by that date (going to just round up and say 3 miles a day.) Jan 12  - 5/1,000 - 36/1,000 Behind, but I should start catching near the end of Jan when I can start running more than 2-3 miles.

DailyMile Widget! And barefoot running?
Got the dailymile widget plopped down at the top of my little blog here. I will try to limit the amount of posts about my running since you can see them right there. I will be posting soon about how I am going to start checking out barefoot running. Very interesting stuff out there on it.

Time to Start Running Again
My New Year’s resolution is to be in running shape by the end of this year. I am going to set a goal of running 1,000 miles this year. That comes out to just 2.73 miles a day. I can not start till Tuesday so I will be behind two days, but I dont see that as a problem at all.  So here is to hoping I can finally get into the rhythm I had in high school and maybe possibly the shape I was in...
